vDecreev Known ye by all present, that Priscus Veritas Guild does petition the Crowns of Norrath for affirmation of the Guild in its ancient rights and privileges and in accordance with the laws of the lands, establish this tenth month of the first year after the great shattering, Priscus Veritas, founded on the principles of koinonia -- the ancient truth that instills and nurtures trust, camaraderie and community, through joint participation and intimate associationv vMissionv In step with the Ancients and walking in the light of the ancient Fellowship, Priscus Veritas is a Norrathian Order that strives to promote the spirit of the Fellowship by providing aid and assistance to all adventurers regardless of rank or alignment, and without consideration for personal gain, through the principles of honor and the sponsoring of adventure and raid expeditionsv vTenetsv The First -- Membership in the Guild is open to any person willing to support the Guild's purposev -----~oOo~----- The Second -- Governance of the Guild shall exclusively be by a Grand Council comprised of members and heirs of the Guild's Founding Families. A Guild Minister is appointed from and by the Grand Council on a quarterly basis with the primary role of presiding over sessions of the Grand Council and casting the deciding voice when the Grand Council is not in harmonyv -----~oOo~----- The Third -- The Grand Council shall guide the Guild, uphold the traditions, support the Guild's purpose, nurture its Members and represent the Guild in all matters concerning the Guild. Any decisions deemed important by the Grand Council and the Advisors shall be brought before the Members at large either at a pre-announced meeting or through the Guild's web site or through official Guild communication to all membersv -----~oOo~----- The Fourth -- Officers, Advisors and Mentors shall be appointed by the Grand Council to serve as faithful counsel and shall encourage others to pursue their character's development and to support the Guild's purposev -----~oOo~----- The Fifth -- Members of the Guild shall uphold the traditions, support the Guild's purpose and willfully provide effort of attendance to all Guild-sponsored adventure and raid expeditions while abiding by the Tenets and Rules of the Guildv -----~oOo~----- The Sixth -- A Guild Manor shall be exclusively maintained by the Grand Council with dedicated access to Guild Members of all ranks for the sole purpose of providing facilities for Guild-Meetings, recreational functions and Member crafting stationsv -----~oOo~----- The Seventh -- A Guild Bank shall be exclusively maintained by the Grand Council for Guild business and Member Services, with a portion of the bank having dedicated access to Guild Members of all ranks with no restriction, for the sole purpose of providing facilities of asset exchange between Membersv -----~oOo~----- The Eighth -- A Member Rank Promotion System shall be maintained and administered exclusively by the Grand Council based directly on a Member's Guild status point contribution. The Grand Council retains the rare-used and noble right to reward and promote exceptional Guild Members without due process and independent of the established status point promotion systemv -----~oOo~----- The Ninth -- A Member Raid Attendance Point System shall be maintained exclusively by the Grand Council and administered by Guild Officers based directly on a member's attendance to select Guild-sponsored Adventure and Raid Expeditionsv -----~oOo~----- The Tenth -- Amendments to the Guild Charter may be administered without restriction under the exclusive order and direction of the Grand Council as dynamic conditions and needs of the Guild dictate.
